You do not have to apologize for having body hair, to any person.
-you can stop here if you want. <3

Having worked as a massage therapist for over 15 years, I've encountered many clients with body hair. Indeed, people naturally have hair—it's like the universe's way of giving us a built-in sweater! A common occurrence in my practice is clients apologizing for not shaving their legs or armpits before a session, which, while polite, is entirely unnecessary.
Most massage therapists only require clients to be clean, though this may vary if you're receiving a dual service like a wrap or steam, where it matters less. Honestly, if you’re getting a steam treatment, the hair might just add to the ambiance—like a cozy, fuzzy blanket!
The trend of shaving legs gained popularity during the era of TV commercials and magazine ads promoting products like shaving creams and costly electric razors. These ads led us to believe that shaving was essential to avoid being seen as unrefined. Women were taught that they needed to shave to be more attractive to men. That's nonsense! I mean, if a guy can’t appreciate a little leg hair, he probably can’t handle a good dad joke either!
Recently, many people have been publicly criticizing women for not shaving their bodies from the neck down. Remember, do what makes you comfortable. Stop apologizing for how you embrace your body. Having hair anywhere on your body is perfectly fine. Whether it's your back, butt, armpits, legs, chest, etc., it doesn't matter. If you dislike hair, that's okay too. If you have stubble, that's also fine. Just think of it as your body’s way of keeping things interesting—like a surprise party, but for your skin!
In conclusion, body hair is fine.
