I’m a massage therapist, sewist, designer, and lifelong maker—and I’m very happy to be bringing Mod Massage back home to Kirkwood, Missouri.

My journey with massage began in 2007. I started my career working in a chiropractic office with runners and athletes before moving into the spa world. Both experiences taught me something different about the body, and how different services can produce similar results.

In 2014, I opened my first massage business, Renew Massage, in Maplewood. Over the next several years, I built businesses in Maplewood, Kirkwood, and Ladue before eventually stepping away from massage in 2022 after too many inappropriate interactions with male clients. It got to the point where I was afraid to pick up my phone because I wasn't sure what someone would be asking me.

I spent the next chapter focusing on my sewing and fashion design business—something I've loved since I was eight years old.

​

After a 2 year healing period, I returned to massage in 2024, I knew I didn't want to simply recreate what I had done before. I wanted to build something more intentional. Something that people could turn to not only when their backs hurt, but when their hearts and minds needed a break too. Something that every client to curate themselves into their perfect session.

That became Mod Massage.

​

Today, Mod Massage is a space centered around women, thoughtful touch, and the many ways our bodies change throughout our lives. Because women's bodies go though so much change, trauma, and neglect, I knew it had to be my focus. 

 

My massage practice is grounded in evidence-informed techniques, while my ASMR offerings explore a different side of touch through focused around mental health and escapism.

Some sessions are massage. Some are ASMR. And some bring the two together in a carefully designed sensory experience.

​

I'm continually developing new offerings to support women through different seasons of life—from pregnancy and perimenopause, to recovery, stress, and simply needing a quiet place to land.
