Policies
These policies are designed to give you the best service I can. Polices are in place to protect and provide a safe space for you to get a massage.
I follow the state laws, the massage board scope of practice, and the Missouri standards of practice. If you have any questions or comments about the information below, you can email me at modmassages@gmail.com.
Hygiene
You must come to your appointment
clean.
Do not smell of perfume, cigarettes, vape, marijuana, etc.
The massage room is small,
smells linger.
A lot of people are very sensitive to smells, please be respectful of my other clients.
Schedule
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early to your appointment time.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened to accommodate other appointments.
I do not schedule appointments less than 48 hours in advance.
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling/rescheduling an appointment(except in cases of illness, emergencies, or inclement weather.)
Comfort
It is vital that you inform the massage therapist of any pain or discomfort during the session.
This includes completing your health intake form to the best of your ability. Missing information can affect the outcome of your service.
Your overall comfort is my first priority, followed by providing a treatment that you will enjoy and benefit from.
No Call/No Show
Unpaid No Call/No Show clients will not be contacted. To schedule again, you must prepay and if you do not show up to the next appointment, you will not receive a refund.
Paid No Call/No Show clients will be contacted 10 minutes into their missed appointment time. We will reschedule the appointment if you need to. If you are simply late, your appointment end time will remain the same. If you miss your rescheduled appointment you will not receive a refund.
Payments
Full payment is due for the entire amount of time you have booked. If you are late, full payment is expected.
Cancellations without 24 hours notice may result in full payment of your session as that time has been set aside specifically for you.
New Clients must prepay, and may not use the scheduler until you receive the link from me via the Contact Form. After reading your email, I will send you a private link to schedule your appointment.

Missouri Standards of Practice
In Missouri, it is unlawful for a massage therapist to massage breast tissue.
Clients must have privacy while undressing.
A massage therapist must provide appropriate draping during the
massage which includes draping at the gluteal
cleft and genitals on males and females and
the breasts on females.
A massage therapist must modify or terminate the massage at the
client’s request regardless of prior consent.
A massage therapist has the right to refuse service.
